The reward has doubled from $5,000.00 to $10,000.00 and is one of the largest rewards in an animal cruelty case ever offered by the Crime Stoppers program.
"Crime Stoppers allows anyone the ability to text, email or call in tips about crimes and become eligible to receive reward money." said county crime stoppers coordinator Cmdr. Ron Hastie.

The year end shooting killed one mare and wounded the second. Both were in a pasture adjacent to the roadway that passes the stables when they were shot. No suspects have been identified in the incident.
