Silas Nathaniel Kanady, currently in custody at Santa Barbara County Jail, will be charged in connection with the Arroyo Grande home invasion, pistol whipping a victim and leaving two brothers bound inside a residence. Kanady was identified as a participant in a similar crime in Santa Maria and will be charged with the San Luis Obispo county case in Santa Barbara Superior Court. Charges include, kidnap to commit robbery, first degree robbery, assault with a deadly weapon, burglary, dissuading a victim and false imprisonment.Booking photo must be obtained from Santa Barbara County Jail.
