Burglary - Vandalism - Resisting Arrest

The sheriff's dispatch center received a 911 call from the occupants of the home saying that an unknown person was pounding on the front door. One of the occupants looked thru the peephole and did not recognize the male banging on the door.
Fearing for their safety, the occupants retreated to an upstairs bedroom when they heard the crashing of the front door.
Deputies arrived to find the front door shattered and located the man in a bed on the first floor of the residence.
The man resisted the deputies but was subdued and taken into custody without injury.
Arrested was Joseph Daniel Flora of Los Osos, who was booked on burglary, felony vandalism and resisting arrest charges. Bail was set at $50,000.00.
