At-Risk Missing Person

Robert Rudd is described as a White male adult, 73 years old, and suffering from dementia.
He was last seen at approximately 11:00 AM on an electric bicycle riding away from his home in the 6800 block of Live Oak Lane in rural San Luis Obispo. He had no known destination. Rudd has left before from his home and traveled to Arroyo Grande on his bike and returned, however he has never been gone this long. He left his residence without a cell phone and without the medication he takes for his dementia.
Deputies began an immediate search. A Reverse-911 call was sent to homes within a one mile radius of his home alerting neighbors of his disappearance.
Rudd is described as 5' 11" tall, 230 pounds with short brown and gray hair and hazel eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue baseball cap, light blue button-up shirt, and brown pants.
