Dead body found in surf line at beach

Contact: Watch Commander/PIOPhone: (805) 781-4553Date and time of incident: 4/30/11, 0658 hoursPlace of Occurrence: Pismo Beach State Beach, midway between the Grand Ave. and Pier Ave. beach rampsVictim Information: 27 YOA black male adult, resident of San Luis Obispo CountySuspect Information: N/AOn 4/30/11 at 0658 hours the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Office received a report from the Pismo Beach State Park Rangers Office regarding a dead body floating in the surf line at the beach. Deputies responded and located a decedent on the beach approximately halfway between the Grand Avenue and Pier Avenue beach ramps. Coroner and Criminal investigators from the Sheriff's Office responded and an investigation in ongoing. The decedent is described as a 27 year of age black male adult who was a resident of San Luis Obispo County. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Office Watch Commander at (805) 781-4553.
