Cody Lane Miller was in a local hospital under guard and was booked into San Luis Obispo County Jail after being treated and released.
On a related matter, coroner investigators will assist at autopsy today in an attempt to determine cause and manner of death, as well as, a positive identification of the victim. The body was recovered Monday afternoon from a remote location on Parkhill Road. The charred body was discovered after the report of a vegetation fire in the area.
