Thompson, NipomoVictim Information: High School Ag programSuspect Information: NoneSan Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Ag Task Force and School Resource deputies are investigating the slaughter of 19 turkeys at Nipomo High School. A total of 22 birds were caged near the agricultural studies program area of the school when person(s) unknown entered the area and killed 19 birds, 2 hurt and 1 missing. The crime took place overnight and was discovered at 7:30 AM this morning.
Ag Task Force deputies are specially trained personnel that hand severe animal cruelty cases, as well as crimes against farm and ranch operations.
