Another youth saw the activity and called 911. The juvenile was transported to Arroyo Grande Community Hospital and was later taken to Cottage. The boy is listed in critical condition at the pediatric intensive care unit.
Persons are cautioned to stay clear of and not trespass on railroad tracks, trestles, etc.

He and a younger brother were on the train tracks when a train was approaching. The youths ran across the bridge and the 14 year old apparently fell as the train went by and was found lying near the tracks with a head injury.
