Anyone who has a current or recently graduated student from Mesa Middle School, who comes into possession of a state flag, is asked to call School Resource Officer Dale Andersen at 473-7107.
"Our initial investigation has determined that this crime is not related to the cross burning incident that happened inside the city limits of Arroyo Grande." said South Station Commander, Ken Conway.

Person(s) unknown broke into a number of class rooms and left hate speech centered graffiti on white boards and did minor damage to classroom fixtures. The only thing determined to be missing were California state flags taken from inside each classroom.
