On 11-06-2016 at approximately 1201 hours, the Sheriff's Office responded to a possible domestic disturbance in Avila Beach. Deputies located the suspect vehicle leaving Avila Beach and attempted a traffic stop. The suspect vehicle fled when the Deputy approached and a pursuit ensued onto southbound Hwy 101. Deputies lost sight of the vehicle and the pursuit was terminated. The abandoned vehicle was later located in the city of Pismo Beach. A search for the suspect(s) who fled was conducted by the Sheriff's Office, however they were not located. There is no risk to the public and the investigation is ongoing.
