The area has been cordoned off and Park Hill Road has been narrowed down to one lane as the scene is processed.
Members of the Sheriff's Search & Rescue team, along with crime lab and sheriff's detectives are searching the area for evidence while CHP Multidisciplinary Accident Investigation Team and helicopter assist in recording the scene.
The area is expected to be processed until dark and then resume in the morning.
There is no present identification of the victim.
