Burglary, Possession of Stolen Property, Manufacture of a Controlled Substance

Contact: Tony CipollaPhone: (805) 781 4547Date and time of incident: 1-21-14, Approximately 2:00 PMPlace of Occurrence: 100 Block of North Oakglen Avenue, Nipomo Victim Information: N/ASuspect Information: David Arthur Thomas, 24, Nipomo, Tashanna Poloma Macaluso, 19, Nipomo, Bennett Francis Macaluso, 53, NipomoOn 1-21-13, San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Detectives, Sheriff’s Narcotics Unit Detectives, members of the Sheriff’s Gang Task Force, and Sheriff’s Deputies served a search warrant at a residence in the 100 block of North Oakglen Avenue in Nipomo. The warrant was based on information gathered during a burglary investigation in Arroyo Grande on 12-6-13. In that case, numerous UGO bluetooth wireless speakers and headphones were stolen from a storage shed in Arroyo Grande. The total loss was estimated to be $30,000. Information from the investigation indicated the stolen electronics were being stored at the residence on North Oakglen Avenue in Nipomo. The warrant was served and numerous electronic devices believed to be stolen were recovered. In addition, detectives also discovered a marijuana honey oil conversion lab at the residence. David Thomas was booked into County Jail on charges of burglary, possession of stolen property and the manufacture of a controlled substance.Tashanna Macaluso and Bennett Macaluso were charged with possession of stolen property and the manufacture of a controlled substance.
