Contact: Tony CipollaPhone: (805) 781-4547Date and time of incident: 6-22-12 Place of Occurrence: MultipleVictim Information: NASuspect Information: NAThe San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in trying to locate two suspects wanted for breaking into vehicles, stealing credit cards and then using those cards to buy thousands of dollars in merchandise. Sheriff's deputies responded to two incidents of cars being broken into at the Avila Bay Athletic Club. In each case, the suspects gained access to the vehicles and then stole credit cards out of the wallets left in the vehicle by their owners. The suspects then used the credit cards to buy a $2,000 laptop computer and other items from the Mac Superstore in San Luis Obispo. The suspects also used the credit cards at the Target store in San Luis Obispo to buy more than $7,000 in gift cards. The Sheriff's Office also wants to take this opportunity to remind you, not to leave valuables in your car.
