Detectives are looking for Jeffrey Lee Wilson of Atascadero. On 11-2-12, the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Office received a report of man carrying a machete and wearing camouflage style clothing in the 1500 block of Templeton Road in Templeton. When deputies responded to the location where the man was last seen, they discovered a burglary had taken place at a nearby business. The man was last seen going in the direction of the riverbed towards the Home Depot in Atascadero. A search was begun that included Sheriff's deputies, Sheriff's K9 units, ATV's, CHP helicopter, and Atascadero Police officers. After a lengthy search, the man was not located in the area and the search was discontinued. Investigators now believe Wilson may be that man. He is described as a white male adult, with a military style haircut, between 5-8 and 5-9, stocky, reddish-colored skin, wearing camouflage style clothing, and carrying large 10 inch machete. If anyone has information on Wilson's whereabouts, they are asked to contact the Sheriff's Office at 781-4550.
