Contact: Tony CipollaPhone: (805) 781 4547Date and time of incident: 3-13-14, Approximately 6:24 PMPlace of Occurrence: San SimeonVictim Information: White, Male, Adult, Approximately mid to late 50'sSuspect Information: N/AOn 3-13-14, Sheriff's Deputies responded to a report of a body found inside a tent in the area where Pico Creek runs into the ocean. A Coroner's Detective responded to the scene to investigate. A white, male, adult who appeared to be in his mid to late 50's was discovered in the tent. It appears the man had been deceased for an unknown period of time. No foul play is suspected at this time. The investigation is continuing to determine the identity of the man and the cause and manner of death.
