Upon further investigation, it was apparent the crime had occurred in San Luis Obispo County in the Oso Flaco Lake Road area. Deputies and investigators with the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Office responded. They found the victim had life-threatening injuries to his neck and was taken to a local hospital where he underwent emergency surgery. He is now in stable condition and is expected to survive. The investigation is continuing. Any members of the public with information on this case are urged to call Sheriff's detectives at 781-4500 or Crime Stoppers at 549-STOP.
