Attempted Murder, Assault with a Deadly Weapon

When deputies arrived, they discovered two people fighting at the residence. After their investigation, deputies arrested 45-year-old Mary Alyson Bowdey on a charge of attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon. She was taken to a local hospital for examination and then booked into County Jail. The male victim was taken to another local hospital and was treated for non life-threatening cut wounds and was released. Two children were in the home at the time of the incident. They were not involved in the incident nor were they injured. The children are now in the custody of Child Welfare Services.
