Stolen Property Recovery - Arrest

Sean Michael Toops was arrested in the 600 blk of Pomeroy after deputies spotted what they believed was a golf cart stolen from Nipomo High School. Thieves had repainted the cart, however the original paint was still visible. Further investigation by the patrol deputies lead to the arrest of Toops and recovery of an $8,000.00 professional bicycle, stolen liquor, a purse and other items taken over the last several weeks.
Toops is currently being held in San Luis Obispo County Jail on $60,000.00 bail on three counts of receiving stolen property and one count of marijuana possession.
