Details of News Release: On 6-12-13, the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Office received a 911 call of a stabbing that occurred at a house in the 300 block of McCarthy Avenue in Oceano. When deputies arrived they discovered 43-year-old Donald Ralph Juarez in the driveway of the house with a hunting knife stuck in the right side of his body. Juarez had been released from County Jail the day before on 6-11-13 for probation violations. On 6-11-13 when Juarez went to visit his girlfriend at the home in Oceano, he discovered another man, 20-year-old Cody Alexander Jackson of Grover Beach inside the house. The two got into a confrontation. Juarez eventually left the house, but returned on 6-12-13. It's believed he forced his way into the house and began assaulting the woman. Her cries for help alerted Jackson who proceeded to stab Juarez in the back with a knife. Once released from the hospital, he will be booked into County Jail on charges of residential burglary to commit a felony, domestic violence and stalking.
