Contact: Tony CipollaPhone: (805) 781 4547Date and time of incident: 6-12-13, Approximately 4:50 AMPlace of Occurrence: 300 block McCarthy Avenue, OceanoVictim Information: N/ASuspect Information: Donald Ralph Juarez, 43, TransientOn 6-12-13, the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Office received a 911 call of a stabbing that occurred at a house in the 300 block of McCarthy Avenue in Oceano. When deputies arrived they discovered 43-year-old Donald Ralph Juarez in the driveway of the house with a hunting knife stuck in the right side of his body. Juarez had been released from County Jail the day before on 6-11-13 for probation violations. On 6-11-13 when Juarez went to visit his girlfriend at the home in Oceano, he discovered another man, 20-year-old Cody Alexander Jackson of Grover Beach inside the house. The two got into a confrontation. Juarez eventually left the house, but returned on 6-12-13. It's believed he forced his way into the house and began assaulting the woman. Her cries for help alerted Jackson who proceeded to stab Juarez in the back with a knife. Juarez was taken to a local hospital where he is being treated for his wounds which are not thought to be life threatening. Once released from the hospital, he will be booked into County Jail on charges of residential burglary to commit a felony, domestic violence and stalking.
