Whitley Gardens resident Edward David Dunn was also taken into custody with Muracchioli and charged with harboring a fugitive. It is alleged Dunn had seen the report of the wanted man on local television, recorded it and played it back for Muracchioli after calling him to come to his house.
Both were booked into San Luis Obispo County Jail.
