Shelly Renee Davis and Gustavo Dejesus were booked into county jail Monday evening on charges of possession of stolen property after an alert employee of Hileman Salvage in Atascadero became suspicious of items brought in by the pair for cash.
The items appeared to be finished brass pieces of art that had been broken into 2-3' segments.
Investigators believe at least seven cases in the north coast area are associated with the pair and are looking for other victims.
