Sheriff Ian Parkinson led the procession of K9's and their handlers. A burial ceremony was held for K9 Jake who began his service with the Sheriff's Office in January 2001 and died Jan. 7, 2010. A final resting place behind the Sheriff's Office has been created for Jake and other K9's who dedicate their lives in the service of the Sheriff's Office.
