Strong Wind Event

The wind event created a path of damage that included a set of wooden stairs and a 30-foot set of bleachers that were picked up and carried by the wind and destroyed, a 20-foot connex (large metal cargo container) that was moved approximately 12 feet and flipped, and severe damage to trees, fencing, a communications pole and a cell tower. No one was injured. This wind event may have been the result of a possible downburst, which is a meteorological term which indicates winds that are directed downward and then outward, contrary to a tornado in which the winds are moving inward and upward.
