Grand Theft - Resisting Arrest

Tefft late Wednesday night and when they attempted to stop him, the driver jumped the curb and abandoned the off highway vehicle and ran into dense fog in the open field at Tefft and Carillo.
Deputies gave chase on foot and eventually found the man hiding behind the Nipomo Community Services District building on S. Wilson. Justice Bryan Summers, 18 of Nipomo was taken into custody without incident and it was determined that the "Gator" had been stolen from a facility in the 300 blk of Broken Arrow.
Summers was booked into county jail on grand theft and resisting arrest charges with bail set and $20,000. along with a probation hold.
