Auto Burglary - Follow-up - Arrest

On August 29th, Donald William Kimble was taken into custody for possession of stolen property, unlawful use of personal identification and theft of bank access card. A no bail parole hold was also placed on Kimble.
Kimble was accused of using a stolen ATM card from one of the north county vehicle burglaries, along with several other persons still being sought.
In a separate incident deputies discovered a purse stolen from a vehicle burglary window smash underneath a trailer at the Casa Blanca Mobile Home Park in San Miguel. The money and additional items in the purse were recovered. The investigation continues into that theft.
In a third case, deputies are attempting to identify the owner of two wooden sculptures, one a bear smoking a pipe, the other a curled up wolf found on a north county street. It is not known if these were stolen items discarded or had perhaps fallen out of a vehicle. Persons with any information are urged to contact North Station Commander, Ben Hall at 434-4290.

Sheriff's crime prevention staff again are urging the public to not leave valuables in their vehicles unattended.
