Main St., TempletonVictim Information: Templeton Spirits Suspect Information: Jeremy Aaron Christensen, 37 of TempletonSan Luis Obispo County Sheriff's deputies responding to a burglary alarm in Templeton on Thursday morning arrested a man suspected of breaking into the business and attempting to remove cigarettes, lottery tickets and liquor.
Deputies arrived at 12:03 AM and entered the store when the owner arrived with a key. Deputies located a hole in the bathroom ceiling that lead to the attic crawl space where it appears the roof vent was pried open and a person lowered themselves inside and exited the same way. Cigarettes and lottery tickets were found near the entry/exit point. Templeton Fire supplied a ladder to the roof where additional evidence was located. Other deputies responding to the scene found Jeremy Aaron Christensen near 2nd St. and noted he had four packs of cigarettes matching the type taken. The store owner was able to match a lot number on one of the packs that was part of the loot taken in the burglary.
Christensen was booked into San Luis Obispo County Jail on charges of burglary, possession of stolen property and vandalism.
