Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Terrorist Threats, Brandishing a Firearm

A domestic dispute had escalated into an altercation between a 72 year old man and his girlfriend, in which the man allegedly made threats, brandished a firearm and was later charged with assault with a deadly weapon. No one was injured during the incident. A house on St Mary St. was checked for the armed man who was later found at a relatives house off Hwy 58 in Northern San Luis Obispo County. The incident began shortly after 9:00 PM on Friday and ended with the arrest on Saturday morning at 12:52 AM. The man was booked into San Luis Obispo County Jail on charges of assault with a deadly weapon, terrorist threats and brandishing a firearm. Booking photo release authorized.
