Homicide - Arrest - Gang Enhancement

Sheriff's Dept., and Commander Kendall Green of Santa Maria Police to announce arrests in a local homicide investigation. The announcement took place at the Sheriff's South Station in Oceano.
The body of Pedro Gonzalez, 32 of Guadalupe, was found near a broccoli field on Bonita School Rd. near Division in San Luis Obispo County on February 15th. Gonzalez had been shot.
San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's detectives, assisted by Santa Barbara Sheriff, Santa Maria Police, and Guadalupe Police determined the murder actually occurred in Santa Barbara County and the body transported to the open field.
After hundreds of hours of investigation, Alejandro "Tiny" Carrillo, 27 of Guadalupe, was arraigned on Friday on charges of murder in the case. He was already in custody at Santa Barbara Co. Jail facing a previous weapons charge. Also charged with accessory to murder with a gang enhancement is Stacy Araujo of Orcutt. Wanted in connection with the death is Miroslava "Miros" Murguia 34 of Guadalupe. She is charged with accessory to murder with a gang enhancement.
