A 911 call was received from the 11000 blk of Dixon Trail in the remote area of California Valley, where Douglas Ray Flaata 56, was taken into custody by the first deputy on scene after hearing a woman calling for help. The deputy immediately called for medical assistance, with Cal Fire arriving and requesting a Cal Star medical evacuation helicopter do to the extent of serious injuries sustained by the woman.Flaata was booked into San Luis Obispo County Jain on charges of attempted murder, domestic violence and terrorist threats.
