The grant title is The San Luis Obispo Sheriff’s Office Off-Highway Safety Team .(S.O.S. Team) The grant will be utilized to replace old worn out equipment and to create a pro-active Off-Highway Enforcement Team that would be able to address Off-Highway Vehicle incidents. The equipment will allow team members the ability to perform off-highway enforcement of the OHV Laws throughout the County of San Luis Obispo, in addition to being able to help with search and rescue missions should the need arise.
The public review and comment period for the 2014/15 Grants and Cooperative Agreements Program begins Tuesday, March 3, 2015, and ends Monday, April 6, 2015. This period provides an opportunity for the public to review and provide comments to the preliminary applications submitted to the OHMVR Division for consideration during the 2014/15 grant cycle.
The Division’s On-Line Grants Application (OLGA) database allows the public to view preliminary applications in a centralized location and to provide public comments.
