Wanted Parolee At Large

Contact: Grace NorrisPhone: (805) 781-4483Date and time of incident: 9-21-18 Approximately 8:04 AMPlace of Occurrence: Camatti and 4th Streets, ShandonVictim Information: N/ASuspect Information: Larry Harvey, 27, ShandonOn 9-21-18 at approximately 8:04 AM Sheriff's Deputies were dispatched to a disturbance in the north end of Shandon. While responding it was determined suspect Larry Harvey, believed to be the suspect at large from yesterday's report of stolen vehicles and burglary, was involved, and is believed to have stolen an additional vehicle today. CHP attempted to contact Harvey, however he fled. A perimeter was set up and a search began, however he was not located. Harvey was last seen in the area of Camatti and 4th Streets at that time.
Harvey, a wanted parolee, is believed to be armed and dangerous. The Sheriff's Office is urging the public to call immediately if they see him, and to not attempt to make contact. Harvey is heavily tattooed and was last seen wearing a grey sweatshirt and blue jeans.
Shandon Elementary and Shandon High School are both at this time sheltering in place. A reverse 911 has been issued to residents in the area where Harvey was last seen. Residents are strongly encouraged to lock their doors, secure their vehicles, and to not leave keys inside their vehicles.
