Burglary - Possession of Stolen Property - Arrest

Colligan had been the subject of an intense ground search on Friday August 6th in San Miguel that involved CHP helicopter, sheriff ground units and Camp Roberts base security.
Colligan fled his residence in the 1400 blk of K Street in San Miguel after deputies investigating local burglaries recovered a firearm, skill saw and appliances from his home.
Today, deputies acting on information that the subject had been spotted at a store near 13th and Mission Streets in San Miguel responded to the area, located Colligan and arrested him after a foot pursuit onto nearby railroad tracks.
Colligan was booked into San Luis Obispo County Jail on two counts of receiving stolen property and one count of burglary. Bail was set at $70,000.00.
Over the last 90 day period cars and residences in the San Miguel area have been plagued with thefts and burglaries. San Miguel residents are cautioned to continue to lock vehicles and homes, while storing valuables safely, other persons still at large may also be responsible for the crime spree.
