Contact: Brandy SwainPhone: (805) 781-4553Date and time of incident: 12-23-14 @ 9:00amPlace of Occurrence: Avila BeachVictim Information: N/ASuspect Information: Joseph Rizzardi, 48, Avila BeachThe San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Sexual Assault Felony Enforcement (SAFE) detectives, with assistance from the Arroyo Grande Police Department High Tech Crimes Unit, arrested a man for possession of child pornography on Dec 23rd. Rizzardi was taken into custody in Avila Beach without incident, after detectives discovered videos of child pornography on a computer that was traced back to him. Several other computer devices were seized that detectives believe contain similar videos and images of children, with results pending further forensic investigation. Booking photo release authorized.
