Sexual Assault Felony Enforcement (SAFE) Team

The Sexual Assault Felony Enforcement (SAFE) Team is responsible for identifying, monitoring, and prosecution of habitual sexual offenders who violate the terms of their probation or parole, or who fail to comply with registration requirements under Penal Code 290. The SAFE Team also investigates Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) cases. ICAC is a nation-wide task force which helps law enforcement agencies develop an effective response to technology-facilitated child sexual exploitation and internet crimes against children.
