Bicycle Patrol Team

The Bicycle Patrol Team is an additional patrol function of the Sheriff’s Office that is utilized to heighten the presence of law enforcement where large crowds congregate such as parades, festivals and special events. The Bicycle Patrol is able to navigate in crowded areas and provide assistance faster than vehicle patrol units. Also, by using the bike patrol, it is easier for the public to approach and talk to a deputy on a bicycle, improving positive community interaction.
