That incident occurred on 2-27-21 when Deputies responded to a report of domestic violence at that location. The suspect in that incident, 29-year-old Ivan Bojorquez, had fled the area before Deputies arrived. A search of the area located his abandoned vehicle and a backpack. Bojorquez was later located by Deputies and Detectives at a neighboring residence of the original crime scene. Bojorquez was taken into custody without incident.
Two firearms including ammunition and two pairs of brass knuckles were located inside of a backpack belonging to the suspect. Two pounds of methamphetamine, scales, and packaging material all indicating the sale of narcotics were also found in the backpack.
The victim was pregnant at the time and had to be treated at two separate local emergency rooms for injuries related to two separate assaults.
Bojorquez remains in County Jail on charges including attempted kidnapping, threatening with intent to terrorize, inflicting corporal injury to a spouse or cohabitant, and preventing a witness/victim from reporting a crime.
