The City of San Luis Obispo had a similar robbery approx one hour before the Nipomo event, but it is not known if the two are related.
Sheriff's detective and crime scene investigators are currently processing the scene along with the FBI.

A subject entered the Wells Fargo Bank on W. Teft Street shortly after 2:00 PM, presented a demand note and fled on foot with an undetermined amount of cash. The robber claimed to have a weapon, however none was seen.No vehicle is associated with the robbery.
