At-Risk Missing Person
Contact: Tony CipollaPhone: (805) 781-4547Date and time of incident: 9-14-12Place of Occurrence: San Simeon AreaVictim Information: Suzanne Kay Smith, 59, Los OsosSuspect Information: N/AOn 9-10-12, the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Office received a report of a missing at-risk adult from Los Osos. Suzanne Kay Smith is described as a white female, brown hair, brown eyes, 5-07, 200 pounds. On 9-11-12, the C-H-P received a report of a vehicle off the road north of the Piedras Blancas lighthouse. The vehicle was not occupied and was towed. On 9-14-12, the Sheriff's Office was notified the vehicle had been towed and was associated with Smith. A search of the area where the car had been found is now underway. Sheriff's Office personnel, Search and Rescue and the C-H-P are involved in the search. If the public has any information regarding the whereabouts of Suzanne Smith, please call the Sheriff's Office at 781-4550 or call Crime Stoppers at 549-STOP. A photo of Smith will be sent in a separate email to the media.
