Contact: Watch CommanderPhone: (805) 781-4553Date and time of incident: 10-19-2012 at 08:01amPlace of Occurrence: 3/4 of a mile north of Piedras Blancas in San Simeon, Ca.Victim Information: N/ASuspect Information: NoneThis morning the Sheriff's Office received a report of a panga boat on the beach 3/4 of a mile north of Piedras Blancas. The panga boat had 2 outboard motors and was upside down in the surf. No suspects were in the vicinity of the boat. In proximity to the panga boat was clothing and 6 gas containers that had small quantities of gasoline. It appeared that the panga boat may have been used to transport marijuana, but none was present or recovered. The location of the panga boat was in the same area as the previous ones discovered in San Simeon.
