Contact: Tony CipollaPhone: (805) 781-4547Date and time of incident: 9-16-12Place of Occurrence: 18550 Highway One, South of Ragged PointVictim Information: Suzanne Kay Smith, 59, Los OsosSuspect Information: N/AOn 9-16-12 at approximately 10:30 AM, the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Office received a report that a resident living on property at 18550 Highway One had located Suzanne Kay Smith. Smith had been reported missing on 9-10-12. The resident discovered Smith after hearing calls for help from a barn located on the property. Smith told the resident that she had been involved in a car accident and had been on the property for the last week. Smith was conscious and alert and was taken to Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center. During the course of the search, Sheriff's investigators, Search and Rescue, the CHP, State Parks Rangers, and agents with the federal Bureau of Land Management were involved in looking for Smith.
