While the victim was on the phone with Sheriff's Dispatch, the suspect forced his way into the home and began destroying property inside the residence.
Deputies arrived and found the suspect in the front yard of the residence. The suspect, 43 year old Richard Lugo, a transient, was arrested and booked on charges of Burglary and felony vandalism.
