Contact: Tony CipollaPhone: (805) 781 4547Date and time of incident: 9-17-13 Approximately 4:55 PMPlace of Occurrence: Division Street X Bonita School Road, NipomoVictim Information: UnknownSuspect Information: N/AOn 9-17-13, the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Office received a report of a body found in a drainage ditch between two fields in the Nipomo area. A field supervisor discovered the body of an adult male submerged in the water that had collected in the ditch. Sheriff's detectives are in the process of recovering the body, collecting physical evidence, and trying to identify the body. Patrol deputies, detectives, dive team and coroner's unit are all assisting in the investigation. The Sheriff's Office was also assisted by CHP air ops. No further details are being released at this time.
