Hernandez surrendered at the Sheriff's south county patrol station in Oceano at approximately 10:00 AM, and was later arrested at Sheriff's Headquarters and booked into county jail shortly after 2:00 PM.
Hernandez faces one count each of continuous sexual abuse of a child, penetration with a foreign object and lewd and lascivious acts with a child under 14. Bail was set at $100,000.00.
SAFE team detectives are a specially trained group of sexual assault investigators who also track Megan's Law offenders.
