  1. They got arrested 3 hours ago, why aren't they booked yet?

    Sometimes it takes a while for the arresting agency to transport an individual to jail. Once they arrive at the jail, it can take between 15 minutes and several hours to book them, depending on the circumstances.

  2. How do I find out if someone is in jail?

    Click: Who Is In Custody or call the jail at (805) 781-4600 and give the last name, then first name of the person you believe is in custody and we will check to see if they are. We cannot give information on someone NOT in our custody.
