Information Technology Unit

The Information Technology Unit (IT) is responsible for the purchase, installation, maintenance and support of all computer systems at the Sheriff's Office, including the computer aided dispatch system (CAD), critical records management software, arrest records and jail management systems. IT is staffed by a supervisor, senior software engineer, systems administrator, and a technical support team . There are more than 350 workstations, laptops and other devices, as well as 50 mobile data terminals that are maintained by the IT department.
