Watch Commander's Office

The Watch Commander's Office oversees dispatch services and patrol operations on a daily basis, and regulates service call priority and order of response. The Watch Commander's Office also handles all notifications during law enforcement critical incidents and natural disasters, including but not limited to the county Bomb Task Force, Special Enforcement Detail (Sheriff's SWAT team), Search and Rescue, Dive Team, Aero Squadron, and the Sheriff's Detective Division. Several sergeants man the Watch Commander's Office 24 hours a day, with commanders providing direct management during the evening hours five days a week.
