The Sheriff's Office began an immediate investigation. Detectives contacted school officials so they could notify staff, students and parents.
The threat was assessed and appropriate resources responded to the school campus and surrounding area this morning. Out of an abundance of caution Deputies will remain at the school all day as a security presence. The investigation determined the threat was generalized and was not directed in any way to a specific individual.
