He was extradited from the Kitsap County Jail in Washington. Moriarty is facing several charges related to securities fraud. The San Luis Obispo County District Attorney's Office is conducting the investigation into Moriarty and all questions pertaining to his case should be directed to that office. Bail is set at $5,000,000.
