Detectives seized computers, external hard drives and thumb drives which contained several hundred images and videos of pre-pubescent children engaged in sexual acts. The images appear to have been downloaded from the internet and then distributed. The seized electronics will be forensically analyzed for child pornography.
Detectives arrested 51-year-old Eugene Virgil Rominger of Paso Robles on one count of possession of child pornography and one count of distribution of child pornography. Rominger was taken into custody and booked into County Jail. The investigation is continuing.
