The pursuit continued through Los Osos to northbound Highway 1, through Morro Bay before the suspect turned eastbound on Highway 41. With the assistance of CHP and Atascadero Police, that road was closed and spike strips were deployed. The vehicle was disabled at Highway 41 and Old Morro Road near Atascadero and the suspect was taken into custody without incident. Neither the suspect nor Deputies were injured in this incident. The pursuit ended at approximately 8:40 AM and lasted approximately 20 minutes with speeds in excess of 90 MPH.
The suspect, 36-year-old Cory Sidartha Martines was booked into County Jail on numerous charges including burglary and evading arrest. Martines also has two outstanding felony warrants for drug related probation violations. The investigation into the burglary continues.

A witness was able to give a description of the suspect's vehicle, a white Dodge pickup truck, and Deputies from the Sheriff's Office Coast Station observed the vehicle at approximately 8:20 AM traveling on Los Osos Valley Road near Los Osos.
